MAN'S TONGUE SWELLS AFTER BEE STING ON RUN <br /> <br />WITH VID <br /> <br />BY SHANNON PICKETT <br /> <br />This runner was left in pain after he had his tongue stung by a bee whilst out for a jog. <br /> <br />Steven VanLeeuwen has gained a lot of attention online after posting a video of him tearing the stinger from his mouth. <br /> <br />The 31-year-old from Utah, USA, was left with a largely swollen tongue and showed the stinger<br /> to camera before warning others not to run with their mouths open. <br /> <br />The video has since gained over 6.5 million views on TikTok. <br /> <br />He said: "I was running, and a bee went right into my mouth and instantly stung my tongue. <br /> <br />"It hurt so bad. <br /> <br />"My tongue is so swollen. <br /> <br />"Keep your mouth closed whilst running, I guess."<br /> <br />ENDS
