Pilibhit (U.P.): In a bizarre turn of events, a simple demand for samosas led to a violent family clash in Puranpur, Uttar Pradesh.<br /><br />Police said Sangeeta, newly married to Shivam, asked him on 29 August to bring samosas. Shivam reportedly lost his money en route and returned empty-handed, sparking an argument. Sangeeta refused dinner and summoned her relatives, who allegedly assaulted Shivam.<br /><br />According to Shivam, his mother was also beaten by his brother-in-law. Matters worsened during a village panchayat at ex-pradhan Awadhesh Sharma’s house, where Sangeeta’s relatives allegedly attacked Shivam’s family with belts, leaving several injured.<br /><br />A video of the incident has since gone viral, fuelling online debate over domestic disputes turning violent. Police have registered a case against the accused and launched an investigation.<br /><br />Circle Officer Prateek Dahiya confirmed: “On 29 August, a fight broke out between two parties.
