Birmingham City’s Championship return has been marked by promise and a few setbacks, most notably the absence of talisman Jay Stansfield. <br />The 23-year-old striker, who netted 19 goals in League One to help secure promotion, missed the 2–0 defeat at Leicester after picking up an ankle injury in the Carabao Cup loss to Port Vale.
