Taiwan’s economy ministry says the country’s liquid natural gas imports are diversified enough to withstand any future Chinese attacks on its energy sector. The ministry was responding to a US-based think tank report warning that Taiwan relies on Qatar for about 30% of its LNG imports, exposing the sector to Beijing’s influence.
