Asia Pacificlc: U.S. not seeking conflict with China, says Hegseth

U.S. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth assured his Chinese counterpart that Washington is not seeking conflict, while stressing it will firmly defend its vital interests in the Asia-Pacific region.
