Look at the Jalalpur Pirwala area, which is just 60 kilometers from Multan. Here the waters of the Sutlej have wreaked havoc. There are no boats and the government has not given any warning. Many people are hanging from trees. This is an appeal to the people to take action. The scene that makes the heart bleed — a man fighting with water, putting his child on his shoulders, drowning himself but praying for the child's breath. Perhaps at this moment he is more worried about his children than his own life — that unparalleled love of parents.<br />And on the other hand, the same official paper promises, grand statements and "we all care" talk that seem like nothing in front of the soaked clothes of mothers, fathers and children.<br />May Allah be the supporter and helper of all these oppressed people.
