Pacific Islands Forum Reaffirms Commitment to Taiwan's Engagement

Following a major summit between Pacific Island nations, the group's leaders pledged their continued commitment to Taiwan’s engagement as a "development partner."  Taiwan's foreign ministry has welcomed the news.
