NAUGHTY TURTLE BITES THEIR NEIGHBOR, GETS THE SLAP BACK<br />WITH PIX AND VID<br />By Shuk Yee Tsang<br />A student captured the wild moment two turtles started fighting underwater.<br />Adam Kraus, 20, from Washington, USA, filmed the dramatic clash during a dive in Indonesia, between hawksbill turtles as they bit and slapped at each other in what he believes was a territorial dispute.<br />He explained that he and his friends watched in shock as the battle unfolded right in front of them, choosing not to interfere.<br />Adam says encounters like this are exactly what makes diving so unpredictable and exciting; you never know what’s going to happen under the surface.<br />Adam said, “This was probably one of the most insane encounters with turtles I’ve ever had.”<br />“These hawksbill turtles, either young males or adult females (hard to tell without a clear view of the tail) were going at it, most likely fighting over territory.”<br />“We didn’t want to interrupt, so we just watched in shock as the whole knockout unfolded right in front of us.”<br />“That’s the magic of diving, you never know what you’ll get underwater, and every single time it’s a surprise.”<br />The comment section erupted with laughter. <br />One commentator said: "They’re always so sassy”<br />END
