WHALE SPLASHING WATER ON PEOPLE<br />WITH VID<br />By Saloni Mathur<br />Watch this exciting video of a humpback whale swimming by a boat of tourists as they shriek in glee when it splashes water on the onlookers. <br />André Soller, a sailor, thought it would be another regular whale watching session off the shore of Ilhabela, Brazil, with a group of patrons on board, when he realised he is in for a pleasant surprise. <br />They didn’t just watch a whale breach the water from a distance, but experienced it interacting with the people by smacking its flippers on the water and splashing water on the people on board. <br />Humpback whales are known to occasionally interact with people through curious and playful behaviours, such as approaching boats, diving near swimmers, or blowing bubble rings. <br />André from São Paulo, Brazil, said: “It was such a delightful yet surreal experience. <br />“Whales are such playful, intelligent creatures, and to spend even a few minutes in the company of one is an unforgettable experience. <br />“When nature expresses itself in that way, you can't help but get emotional.<br />“All I can say is, thank you, your majesty.
