In Honduras, the National Risk and Contingency Management Agency issued warnings of heavy rains in eight departments of the country. The Center for Atmospheric, Oceanographic, and Seismic Studies warned that a surface trough will generate heavy cloud cover, rain, and light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in most of the country. The heaviest accumulations are expected on Saturday, September 20th, in the eastern, western, and central regions, and on Sunday, September 21st, in the south, west, and center.
