Five years after their last release, we are thrilled to announce Chromatic Filters are back, with the exciting new work “Sensazioni Hi-Fi”.
Inspired by their childhood summer moments, the italian duo based in London by Pierpaolo Sechi and Luca Sanna, work the magic to create something different, which projects their sound even further. The music is played entirely live, and the analog sound creates an authentic and natural atmosphere.
The three songs have a nostalgic feel, a journey to those carefree days, permeated by the warmth and sensations of summer memories. Groovy rhythms, warm disco bass lines, bittersweet guitar riffs and balearic waves, mixed in a unique way, make the soundscape magical and even surreal, perfect for those sunny and unforgettable moments, wherever you are.

“Sensazioni Hi-Fi” is a collaboration with Alex Puddu, a prolific multi-instrumentalist, composer and singer born in Italy but living in Copenhagen. Inspired by 60s and 70s soundtracks, with 18 albums under his belt, Alex has explored the world of library music, including a series of 3 volumes released by Schema Records, in collaboration with Edda Dell'Orso, the legendary singer of maestro Ennio Morricone. A catchy song about a toxic love affair. A boy does everything, goes from one danger to another, just to see his ex-lover again, but the woman is now far away and unreachable. At night, as in a dream, he always perceives her presence in the shadows, like a ghost or rather a demon possessed by lust and forbidden temptations.

Grab your copy here https://rebirthrecordings.bandcamp.com/album/sensazioni-hi-fi

https://www.instagram.com/chromaticfilters/
https://www.instagram.com/alexpuddu.official/
