Trump says Tylenol use in pregnancy tied to autism<br /><br />U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday (September 22) there was a link between the use of popular over-the-counter pain medication Tylenol and the development of autism during pregnancy, a claim which many doctors dispute.<br /><br />Trump also suggested leucovorin, a form of folic acid, as a treatment for autism symptoms during a White House event. The Food and Drug Administration published a notice to the Federal Register ahead of his speech, approving a version of the drug made by GSK it had previously withdrawn.
