Adamson upsets defending champion UP in UAAP 88<br /><br />Ray Allen Torres drills the game-winning trey as Adamson University nips defending champ University of the Philippines, 62-59, in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion on Sept. 24, 2025. Adamson thus bounced back from its season-opening loss to La Salle last Saturday to rise to 1-1. A former UPIS student, Torres finished with 10 points to join hands with AJ Fransman who likewise scored 10 markers on top of eight boards.
