Local communities are set to be give more control over where vaping and gambling shops can open and how many there can be in their towns under plans to revive Britain’s high streets. Housing Secretary Steve Reed said: "Currently communities don't have the powers they need so we're giving those powers to them. That is what communities need to take back pride in their localities."
