The Indian Air Force’s iconic MiG-21, the country’s first supersonic fighter and interceptor inducted in the 1960s and a key part of India’s military aviation history, took its final bow today in Chandigarh. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, top military leaders, and veterans gathered to mark the end of the jet’s 62 years of distinguished service.
