WINGSUIT FLYER LEFT ‘SEEING STARS’ AFTER KNOCKOUT COLLISION MID-AIR<br /> <br />WITH VID<br /> <br />By Ben Rudd<br /> <br />Check out the intense moment two wingsuit flyers crashed into each other in the air with one left ‘seeing stars’ after the ‘knockout’.<br /> <br />Lane Paquin was leading a group of wing suiters in the sky when suddenly, another flyer came out of nowhere and collided right into him.<br /> <br />Shockingly, Lane described the hit as ‘being hit by a missile’ and explained that he felt fire across his neck right after the high-altitude crash.<br /> <br />Right after the collision, both flyers momentarily spiralled out of control, before both fortunately managed to regain their course.<br /> <br />Luckily, both flyers were ok and landed safely in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.<br /> <br />Lane, from Florida, USA, said: “First day of the event…<br /> <br />“I was leading a group of wing suiters toward two canopy pilots for some XRW.<br /> <br />“Out of nowhere, another flyer lost the leader and aimed straight for the canopies without ever seeing me.<br /> <br />“When he hit me, it felt like fire across my neck, like a missile struck me mid-air.<br /> <br />“Next thing I knew, I woke up belly-to-Earth in freefall, wondering what the hell just happened.<br /> <br />“We were both ‘ok’ and managed to land safely but I was seeing stars even on the ground and sore for days after.<br /> <br />“Collisions are real.
