Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has told the United Nations General Assembly that peace remains elusive in the Caribbean, as crime and instability continue to undermine the region. She also backed U.S. military support in countering organized crime and urged a fairer approach to climate policies for developing nations.<br />
