Eagle-Eyed Fans Spot Embarrassing Moment Ryder Cup Supporter Completely Stacks it Live on TV

A RYDER CUP fan took an embarrassing tumble on live TV.

The supporter was watching the Friday afternoon fourball action at Bethpage Black.

And he wanted to grab a photo of Europe's Jon Rahm and Sepp Straka as they walked off the 13th green.

However, it all went spectacularly wrong.

The gentleman in a black top and black cap appeared to be lining up a snap of the duo as they opened up a commanding lead over Scottie Scheffler and JJ Spaun - before eventually sealing a 3&2 win.

But he needed to emerge from behind other spectators to get a clear view.

And that meant treading carefully down a precarious slope.

But with heavy rain on Thursday and thousands of fans trampling over the grass, he clearly did not have the best grip.

So much so that he lost his footing.

And he rather amusingly completely stacked it cartoon-style.

To make matters worse, another bloke came to help out.

But he also seemed to fall over while trying to assist - although it appeared neither of them was injured, thankfully.

The course was still drying out from the horrendous downpours that left parts of the 18th green waterlogged.

Ryder Cup chiefs moved the opening ceremony to Wednesday because of the bad weather - and the junior event to a different course.

But it was Europe who nearly delivered a washout in the first foursomes session.

They secured big wins in the first three games before Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay secured the A's first point of the week on the 18th.
