The international Global Sumud Flotilla bound for the Gaza Strip has entered the interception zone of the Israeli occupation and was approached by Israeli vessels in recent hours. According to their Instagram account, the humanitarian flotilla was confronted by an Israeli military vessel, which intimidated the group of activists and damaged the communication systems of the lead ships, Alma and Sirius. The group of more than 50 civilian vessels carrying humanitarian aid crossed the naval boundary set by Israel without the escort of military ships from Spain or Italy.
