Truck loads of relief aid from the City Government of Davao departed Davao City bound for earthquake-hit areas jn Cebu around 6am Thursday, October 2. <br /><br />The contingent will cross to Cebu via Nasipit port in Agusan del Norte, which is at least 300 kilometers north of the city. <br /><br />Aside from food aid, the city government also sent medical workers, social workers and other support personnel to assist in emergency response efforts.
