She decides to return to her old village, only to find that everything has changed. The once humble village has vanished. Before her lies the modern world: cold concrete roads, forests ravaged by chainsaws, her beloved bamboo and thatch home erased without a trace, replaced by a bustling city filled with skyscrapers, traffic, and polluted air.<br /><br />Even the crystal-clear stream at the village entrance—once the keeper of so many precious memories—has become a dark, concrete canal, choked with trash.
