Traffic is reduced to one lane on the Bangor-bound side of the Belfast to Bangor A2 road, due to flooding, at Marino on the Bangor side of Holywood. The rainwater, amidst Storm Amy, had gathered so that it fully covered the inside lane and much of the outside lane. Larger vehicles continued to use the inside lane but most slowly went through the outer lane. The traffic was already backed up almost to the Tillysburn roundabout near Belfast City Airport and Sydenham bypass more than two miles away by shortly after lunchtime.
