STREETS OF ODESA SUBMERGED IN WAIST DEEP FLOOD<br /> <br />WITH VID<br />BY TIM TONG<br /> <br />Watch the dramatic moment streets in Odessa, Ukraine, are left submerged in floodwaters after heavy rainfall.<br /> <br />Yulia Skakodub, from Odessa, Ukraine, filmed the clip from the passenger seat of an SUV, showing murky water pouring into the vehicle’s footwell as it pushes through the submerged roads.<br /> <br />Outside, cars sit abandoned and partially underwater, while people on foot can be seen wading through waist-deep water.<br /> <br />The shocking footage showing the scale of the flooding, which left parts of the city almost impassable, has gathered over 400,000 views on TikTok.<br /> <br />One comment said: "There’s no way I’m walking through waist deep murky water to get somewhere."<br /> <br />Another added: "That’s not a street, it’s a river now, I’ve seen river shallower than this."<br /> <br />ENDS
