Today's contestants are Geoff & Jessica Curry from Lancashire, Joan & Richard Hughes from the West Midlands, Chris & Darren Goldsmith from Sussex, and Laurie & Kay Pithers from Essex. This was clearly during the launch of the National Lottery, as host Bruce Forsyth gives it a mention to assistant Rosemary Ford, but our teams were more interested in what they might claim on the conveyor belt of prizes here. Among the games they had to navigate to get there are "Beefcake" (American Football), "Cut It Out" (Origami type paper art), "Smooching Statues" and "Me and My Shadow", which contrary to what you may be thinking isn't a musical number but a game to guess the celebrity by their shadow (crikey!). The Finale sees the remaining two trying to do impressions with guest Alan Stewart. It proves so hard to call that it takes a tiebreaker to separate them - let's hope there are no gaffes this time! <br /><br />(Note: For some reason Challenge TV have skipped episode 10, so this is the following episode broadcast on November 19th 1994. Episode 10 on IMDB is titled "Brucie's Choices" and feature a raft of celebrities, so was this a Children in Need special? Either way, sadly Challenge TV didn't repeat it last week, and there seems to be no other copy about. Apologies for that).
