A quiet walk back through the streets that made me. “My Oasis” is a love song written from my memories — the alley shortcuts, Heckscher Park afternoons, the lake that still calls our names, and the little shops that held pieces of my life. It’s a song about how places change but the feelings they hold remain, and how coming home can feel like stepping into a memory that never left. Sung at Austin’s Ale House in Kew Gardens Queens. Hopefully I was able to convey this fragile, honest, moment. Copyright © 2025 Frederick Chipkin.
