<br />Wyatt Johnston’s rise in Dallas has been nothing short of impressive.<br />Drafted 23rd overall in 2021, the young center quickly proved he belonged. After signing his entry-level deal that fall, Johnston broke into the NHL a year later and scored in his debut against Nashville — becoming the youngest North American to play for the Stars since 1994.<br />He set a franchise record for goals by a teenager with 15 and finished his rookie season with 24 goals and 41 points in all 82 games.<br />The milestones kept coming. In 2024, he recorded his first hat trick against San Jose. A year later, he became the youngest player in Stars history to notch a natural hat trick in a win over Vegas.<br />Johnston capped off the 2024–25 campaign with career highs across the board, finishing with 71 points.
