Intrepid Maven is an exercise put on by our partners with Israel. We've come over here to Camp Shabbat and participated in some of the training that they have here with their FOs and their JTACs. And we've integrated our FOs and our JTACs with them to conduct forward observation exercises and as well as small unit tactic exercises.<br /><br /><br />The bilateral training between U.S. Marines with 3rd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (3D ANGLICO), U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve, and Israeli Defense Force (IDF) soldiers primarily occurs during the exercise series known as Intrepid Maven.<br /><br />The training is designed to improve interoperability, strengthen the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) relationship with Israel (which shifted to the USCENTCOM area of responsibility in 2021), and improve the readiness of both individual personnel and bilateral units.
