A voluminous steaming event was observed at the main crater of Taal Volcano on Friday night, Oct. 10, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.<br /><br />Per the agency, the activity occurred from 9:55 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. and produced a white plume that rose 2,100 meters above the crater, as recorded by the Taal Volcano Observatory (TVO) Thermal Camera.
