Eric Nixon was identified as the pilot of the helicopter that crashed in Huntington Beach on Saturday, Oct. 11, per the Daily Mail and The U.S. Mirror. Nixon’s son-in-law confirmed his identity and said that he is in the hospital with “some broken ribs, crushed vertebrae, and several bruises," per The U.S. Mirror. Officials have not yet verified Nixon as the pilot in the incident.
