This is the chilling moment a couple and their dog narrowly avoid being crushed by a huge falling tree in a freak stroke of luck.<br /><br />The breathtaking footage caught on CCTV showed the unsuspecting trio walking in the grass, just moments before near near-disaster.<br /><br />In the unbelievable clip, the pair and their pet are seen strolling in an American neighborhood on what appears to be a normal day.<br /><br />But the party is completely unaware that a huge tree beside them is about to collapse.<br /><br />Just seconds into the clip, the behemoth log starts to topple over and fall in the direction of the innocent couple – almost like a scene from Final Destination.<br /><br />As the tree comes crashing down, the woman can be heard saying, Oh my god.”<br /><br />Plunging towards the grass, one of the tree’s hulking branches slams to the ground behind the woman.<br /><br />Meanwhile, in front of her, another massive branch swings right in front of her face before stopping – trapping her between two large chunks of wood.<br /><br />Her near-catastrophic experience has visibly shaken her, with the woman seen holding her hand over her mouth.<br /><br />Fortunately, the group’s dog was seen walking behind the tree and also appeared to avoid the falling wood.<br /><br />The man also avoided being caught in the crossfire, as he was seen barely ducking in to avoid the towering plant.<br /><br />Moments after the tree lands, the woman is seen walking out from under the tree – seemingly shocked by her close encounter.<br /><br />It is unclear why the gargantuan tree came crashing down just beside the pair, or which US state the ordeal unfolded in.<br /><br />Thankfully, no one was injured during the terrifying ordeal.<br /><br />The close call clip was filmed on a security camera, which managed to catch the frightening ordeal.<br /><br />It comes after heartstopping footage showed an unsuspecting pedestrian cheating death by mere inches as a concrete balcony collapsed above her.<br /><br />Chilling footage showed the woman next to her shopping bag while on the phone – just moments before heaps of rubble fell from the sky.
