The battery, designed and assembled entirely in-house by Ferrari, has been integrated into the floor, lowering the center of gravity by 80 mm compared to an equivalent ICE model.<br /><br />The central area of the car was developed with an integrated optimization approach to minimize the weight of the battery/chassis system and maximize the benefits in terms of vehicle dynamics.<br /><br />The cell layout was designed to reduce inertia and lower the center of gravity, positioning them as much as possible behind the driver's seat. 85% of the modules are located in the floor, while the rest are under the rear bench: a solution that shortens the wheelbase and reduces inertia to offer exceptional driving pleasure in all situations, with a weight distribution of 47–53%.
