It requires a special capacity for perception and expression, as I must empathize with and embody the characters, objects, and forces. Dance is not just a physical movement, but a deep immersion into emotional states, into the inner turmoil that the search for and need for liberation brings with it. <br />It's about feeling what it means to live with these inner contradictions, to accept them, and to understand them on stage. A central theme of my piece is playing with one's own shadow – a metaphorical dance with the dark sides of the self, with the fears, unfulfilled longings, and painful desires that often drive the quest for fulfillment.
