Wall Street ends down; Zions sparks worries about regional banks

Wall Street closed lower on Thursday (October 16), with signs of weakness in regional banks spooking investors already on edge over U.S.-China trade tensions. The S&P 500 lost 41.99 points, or 0.63%, to end at 6,629.07 points, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 107.54 points, or 0.47%, to 22,562.54. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 301.07 points, or 0.65%, to 45,952.24.
