Gilmour Space's Eris rocket briefly launched from Bowen Orbital Spaceport in coastal Queensland.<br /><br />"The rocket began sliding sideways shortly after rising off the pad, crashing back to Earth just 14 seconds after liftoff," according to Space.com.
