Reports in the press this week about Australian oil supplies have triggered concerns about the country's ability to stock shelves in the event of a supply chain disruption. Along with the low supplies, there's concern Australia is failing to meet international obligations to have enough oil in case of a global emergency. Tony Wood is a Energy and Climate Change Senior Fellow at the Grattan Institute. He says he believes Australia is in a good position even though the numbers can look concerning.
