Polls have closed in this year's WA local government elections with results expected to roll in this evening and tomorrow. Local Government Minister Hannah Beazley has said she's expecting voter participation to be lower, and will be potential the participation rate will be lower, flagging potential reforms to both compulsory voting and four-year full spill elections.
