HERO CAT STOPS WOMAN SUFFERING FROM SEIZURE <br />WITH VID AND PIX<br />BY SAM PRINGLE <br />A remarkable cat is being hailed a hero by his owner, for his life-changing role in helping her manage and recover from seizures.<br />Issy Lewis from Bedford, UK, who experiences seizures, says Bobby’s natural instincts have made a profound difference in her life. <br />In a particularly touching moment, she recalls how Bobby stayed with her throughout a seizure, refusing to move until it ended.<br />The 25-year-old said: “He stayed on top of me until the end of the seizure and proceeded to make muffins for around three minutes to wake me up.<br />“Sometimes he’ll make muffins on my chest after a seizure. I call that his post-ictal CPR.”<br />Even more remarkably, Bobby appears to sense when a seizure is coming. In the video Issy shared, Bobby can be seen reaching for her chest just before the episode begins.<br />“You can see him reaching for my chest before the seizure,” she said.<br />“He slept behind me all night to make sure I don’t sleep on my back. He usually sleeps between my legs but realised how important this night was.<br />“I didn’t train Bobby to do any of this and have nothing to do with his special talent.<br />“It’s just something he does.”<br />ENDS
