Taal Volcano in Batangas had a series of minor eruptions on Sunday, Oct. 26, with one phreatic and two phreatomagmatic explosions recorded at its Main Crater, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. <br /><br />Phivolcs said the phreatic eruption occurred at 2:55 a.m., followed by phreatomagmatic events at 8:13 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. <br /><br />The eruptions generated plumes that rose between 1,200 and 2,100 meters above the crater, based on data from the Main Crater IP and thermal cameras.
