GIRL GETS BURNED WHILE JUMPING ROPE<br />WITH VID<br />By SALONI MATHUR<br />Watch this shocking video of a girl getting burned while jumping a burning rope during a fire show.<br />Sruti Sridar Sridar, 28, a UX designer, had gone to the Phi Phi islands in Thailand for her bachelorette trip.<br />She had heard a lot about the many fire shows that happen on Phi Phi and wanted to see one.<br />These fire shows often occur nightly, sometimes with audience participation in activities like limbo or skipping rope after the main performance.<br />She got a chance to participate in skipping rope, and she took it.<br />Later, she unfortunately lost her footing and ended up burning herself.<br />Sruti said: “I burnt my stomach, a little bit of my hair and biceps with the rope.<br />“Fortunately, they were minor burns that healed in four days.<br />“The rope only made contact with me for mere seconds and quite literally barbequed me.<br />"I hope all the people participating in these events are super careful.”<br />ENDs
