'I MIGHT BE THE FIRST PUPPY GIRL TO WEAR THEIR EARS IN THEIR STATE ID'
WITH VID AND PIX
BY KIARA WELLS AND SHANNON PICKETT
This woman has taken her “puppy girl” persona to the next level by wearing her floppy dog ears in her official ID photo.
Sofia Durelli, 28, from Shoreline, Washington, USA, claims she might be the first person ever to wear their furry ears in a state ID picture.
The self-proclaimed 'puppy girl' says she wasn’t nervous about breaking convention since the ears are a part of her daily look.
She said: “It is I, Washington’s one and only official puppy girl.
“I just did it. I didn’t ask permission.”
Sofia told how the decision was made because she wears her ears everywhere so wearing them in her ID felt like a natural decision to commit to the bit.
She explained that when she goes to a bar or club, she now has to wear her puppy ears, or risk getting turned away.
Sofia claims she is Washington's one and only puppy girl so committing to wearing her accessory every day is something she has to do to keep the persona going.
She said: “It’s going to be okay because I wear them everywhere.
“My commitment to the puppy girl bit is ironclad.
"I wasn't like nervous and like, oh my god, like, is it okay now?
"If you're going to do this too, you also have to have ironclad commitment to the bit because it's not going to work.
"Also, a very, very funny, unintended consequence for those of you that want to do this but are committed to the bit, when you go to the bar or when you go to buy alcohol or get into the club, you best wear your ears because otherwise your ID is going to look fake and then they might not let you in."
.ENDS
