AFTERMATH OF HURRICANE MELISSA<br />WITH VID<br />By SALONI MATHUR<br />This horrific footage shows the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. <br />With buildings torn apart and trees fallen across the road, the people of Jamaica are now working hard to put their lives back together after this catastrophe. <br />This video was taken by Shanique Holness, a travel agent living in Montego Bay, Jamaica, who also suffered through this hurricane.<br />Shanique said: “It was an absolutely horrendous experience. <br />“Hearing the wind bellowing outside, things knocking and crashing and having no clue what they are, seeing the roofs and debris flying in the air and water gushing in through the windows, it was too much to keep up with. <br />“It's something I'd wish never to experience again, but I know, unfortunately, we'll have other hurricanes. <br />“I just hope it's not of this strength and magnitude again.”<br />ENDS
