Police have arrested 13 people during violent clashes with protesters near a weapons and military exhibition in Sydney’s CBD. Dozens of demonstrators from the Palestine action group gathered outside condemning the expo because it includes two Israeli defence contractors. Protestors were met by the riot squad and mounted police who tried to keep demonstrators back with pepper spray. It's alleged the protestors tried to access a restricted area and others tried to breach police containment lines.
