Wales’ First Minister Eluned Morgan has visited a new housing development for Saundersfoot, which she says shows that the Labour Government is delivering for communities in Pembrokeshire.<br />Ger-y-Môr is a 72-unit development approved last year by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority. <br />Developers have stated that the zero-carbon ready scheme will bring a range of facilities to the local community, including an equipped play area at the heart of the site, contributions to highway and active travel upgrades, and a dedicated active travel link that connects the site back to Sandy Hill Road.<br />“In Saundersfoot, 25 of the new Persimmon Homes at Ger-y-Môr will be affordable, giving more local families the chance to move into secure, high quality homes,” said the First Minister.<br />“A new footpath will link the site to Saundersfoot’s harbour - part of our Active Travel Plan to connect new communities sustainably.<br />“Across Pembrokeshire, hundreds of new affordable homes are being built - part of the our mission to deliver 20,000 affordable homes across Wales, the highest on record.<br />“Welsh Labour, delivering for communities.
