Maine health system accidentally sent letters to more than 500 patients stating they were dead.

MaineHealth, a nonprofit organization that includes hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities in Maine and parts of New Hampshire, said it mistakenly sent 532 letters containing information on how to contact next of kin to manage estates.<br />
