Shein announced it would stop selling sex dolls on Nov. 3, shortly after amid a French investigation into childlike sex dolls on its site. The ban came shortly after French Finance Minister Roland Lescure threatened to ban Shein in France and a few days before the opening of Shein's first permanent physical store in the world in Paris.
