The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) President Raul Rocha has released a video statement on Wednesday, November 4, following the recent issues involving Miss Universe Thailand National Director Nawat Itsaragrisil. <br /><br />Nawat reportedly questioned Miss Mexico about her absence from a sponsor's photo shoot. The contestant felt uncomfortable and chose to leave the room. Later reports said that the Mexican beauty queen felt disrespected when Nawat allegedly called her "dumb" during the orientation.<br /><br />Rocha then accused Nawat of causing the incident because of “his constant desire to be the center of attention”. He then announced that he has restricted Nawat's participation in the events that are part of the 74th Miss Universe competition.
