Body cam footage released by Slidell Police shows Sgt. Jeff Kahrs chasing down a shoplifting suspect on Saturday at a Dillard’s store in Fremaux Town Center. Police say 34-year-old Kelsey Baird of Florida dropped the items she was trying to steal and ran to a waiting car driven by 43-year-old Eric Boudreaux of Mississippi. As Kahrs chased her through the parking lot, a bystander offered him a ride in her SUV to help pursue the fleeing suspects.
