The Palestinian ministry of education reopened the historic Al-Kamaliyah school located east of Gaza City. Gaza authorities reported that the former educational center opened its doors to welcome more than 300 Gazan students, in a two-shift system: morning and afternoon. The initiative aims to meet the needs of dozens of children eager to recover their lives in the coastal enclave after years of continuous siege by Israel.
