Elon Musk said Tesla may build its own “gigantic” chip fabrication plant to meet future AI and robotics demand, as current suppliers TSMC and Samsung can’t produce enough. He also announced that Tesla will begin production of its autonomous, no-steering-wheel Cybercab in April, underscoring Tesla’s shift toward AI-driven transportation.
