Venezuela has dispatched its second major shipment of humanitarian aid to eastern Cuba following Hurricane Melissa. The shipment, containing over 5,000 tons of food, medicine, household goods, and toys, set sail from La Guaira port with 102 containers. President Nicolás Maduro sent the aid through the ALBA Bank, alongside a brigade of 22 electrical workers to assist with power restoration. This follows an earlier air delivery of 26 tons of supplies on October 30.
